Description

Average condition for her age, some dents and dinks as expected. Only reason for sale is that we needed an automatic following an injury.
She's a solid car and will be genuinely missed.

TD4 – chain driven, and has never skipped a beat - mechanically sound. She has been 'dad's taxi' since we bought her, 13 years ago. Average of 4k a year since 2012. (Average of only 3k p/y since 2019.) Low overall miles for her age.
Very good at handling adverse weather - I've managed to get to work when others (driving Disco's and other SUV's couldn't) because of floods or snow.

Some advisories on latest MOT will need seeing to, likely before next MOT.

Things to be aware of:
Paint above windscreen separating from undercoat. Spots of de-lamination to paint on bonnet. Heated Screen works, though elements inside glass sketchy and some banding at best.
Insurance replaced this screen many years ago and, as with all heated screens, the elements slowly start to conk out.

Heated rear screen - all elements have failed except, I think, for the top one.

Rear (boot) electric window works fine - this can be a common problem, or so I’ve been told, which can prevent the boot from opening.
Fuel Burning Heater works when it wants to.

Turbo replaced for new 2 years ago (£1k+ if memory serves).

Air-con compressor replaced for new perhaps 5 years ago. (£400)

Extra money well spent on replacement silver battery. Held in with cable ties to tray due to clamp hook rusted (if you know, you know).
Clutch replaced a few years back (with flywheel) with LUK parts. Another £1k+ job.

Passenger heated seat recently stopped working - suspected cable to switch (possibly just loose - not had chance to check)
Rear offside electric window doesn't lower/raise. Suspected relay / switch under steering column. (it did work long enough for the tint to be applied some time ago - so it's not a 'mechanical' issue)

Tow bar fitted with electrics – I’ve never used it, or her, to pull anything.

Headlamps need polishing up to avoid further on-set of cataracts.

6-disc CD (I know, CD's aren't a thing anymore - but I like the nostalgia!) changer works without issue.

Drivers controls on steering column also work without issue.

Height / reach / rake adjustable steering column.

Electric, manually operated heated, folding wing mirrors.
Drivers side is cracked and gets flagged every year at MOT, but does not fail as doesn’t affect use.

Rear parking sensors working.

Locking wheel nuts and 'key' present - 2 keys, 2 remote fobs (Both work)

The felt covering on the roof lining fell out with the adhesive underneath recently. I have purchased some special ‘buttons’ to rectify, by haven’t gotten around to actually doing it.

Drivers side door must be unlocked with key (suspected solenoid failure about 10 years ago – I lived with it) – All other doors unlock remotely. All doors lock remotely.

Me and the kids gave her a really good clean out, as best we could. Try as we might – we cannot eradicate all of the labrador fur. Some traces remain and are the bane of my existence.

I will shortly be registering as SORN (to get my tax back if I can) and we’re no longer insured on her either, so unless you can show us proof of ins, any test drives would be somewhat illegal.
