Land Rover, DEFENDER, Panel Van, 1998, Manual, 2495 (cc) MOT July 2027

Description

An honest defender with solid subframe, floor and bulkhead. It has had a bit of an internal makeover with new quality seat covers, roof lining, some switchgear, radio and speakers as well as a colour change from white to blue, new front bumper and led lighting ( not headlights). Colour change was not a bare metal respray but a coach paint that retains all the lumps and bumps you would expect to see . Mileage is 210k, I was told engine had a rebuild at 200k but have no paperwork to confirm this but drive belt change sticker is present showing changed at approx 200k.

Worst part is the two front doors, they look like they have been refurbished in the past with just a new skin that is quite thin so has lots of dints and lumps … they are not a great fit and the passenger door needs a slam to shut it, not helped by me fitting new rubbers.

As said it’s an honest Landy that starts first time and drives with all the lumps, creaks and bumps you expect from a 1998 Landy.
