Original Vintage Danish Dansa Floor Lamp
Leytonstone, London
1 / 14
Description
Beautiful original vintage Danish floor lamp, marked Dansa Lamp – C. V. Østergaards Eftf. – Type 2111.
Dating from around the 1960s/70s, with a warm golden-brass finish, substantial circular base and adjustable gooseneck, allowing the light to be angled in different directions.
The lamp is in good vintage condition and is in full working order. Takes a standard screw-in bulb (max 60W).
The original manufacturer’s label is still present inside the lamp head — see photographs.
Height approx. 137cm with the neck straight.
The flexible neck can be positioned to direct the light. It is slightly looser when bent into a more extreme arch, but is sturdy in other positions.
I originally purchased this from Chase & Sorensen, London, a specialist vintage furniture shop.
