Description
The Kia Ceed 2012 1.6l Ecodynamic Diesel is a reliable and fuel-efficient vehicle.
I’ve had this car for 8 months and it has been running fine the whole time, although has been a little harder to get into gear than other cars I’ve owned. It has done this since I bought it. I took it in for its MOT and asked them to investigate the difficulty getting into gear and a rattle. They said it was a clutch problem. I decided not to get it fixed. The mechanic outlined the problems:
1. Clutch (he said around £550 to fix)
2. Mot failure (failed on offside track rod ball joint play, nearside suspension arm ball joint, split pins missing from steering lock)
He’s quoted £300 to get it through its MoT.
