Description

I am selling my Kia Cee’d due to an oil seal weeping on the gearbox input shaft. This oil leak, although slow, is causing the clutch to slip in the Bellhousing. Selling as I do not have time to strip the gearbox to replace the seal.

The Good-
Car has 89,524 miles on the clock (mild mileage), still driving car so mileage will vary
Has recently had oil & oil filter service, fuel filter service, auxiliary belt service, air filter
Has new front & rear brakes (pads & discs)
Has new rear suspension control arms and springs
Has new forward control arms on front suspension
Very robust engine with good reputation for reliability
The car has almost no signs of corrosion. Chassis legs and undercarriage are very robust
New AVON AS7 all season tyres on all four corners
Air con works perfectly and is freezing cold on lowest setting
Has recently had halfords laser wheel alignment
£35 a year to tax!

The Bad-

Clutch slipping due to gearbox oil weeping into bell-housing
Windscreen washer fluid warning light permanently on dash (sensor failure)
The rear windscreen wiper does not work. New wiring loom required
Corrosion appearing on top of the rear driver's side door (leaky seal?)
MOT expires 13/10/2026
Drivers seat fabric is tearing
Very little paperwork

The Ugly-

Car has many blemishes and dents including:
Scraping on the front bumper LHS & RHS
Curb damage on all alloys
Dents in both passenger side doors with the front door being the worst affected
Dent in the drivers side rear wheel arch
Dent in the boot spoiler
Light scraping on the rear bumper
