Description
MALTRON single handed keyboards have been developed as a logical step forward to meet the needs of those who must perform keyboard operations with one hand. The shape matches the natural hand movement and the special letter layout minimises finger movements for Latin based languages when using only 5 digits. Word rates of over 80 words / minutes have been achieved within 6 weeks training as the most common 150 words can be accessed from the home row. No RSI type problems have been reported in over 10 years. Self paced training exercises are apparently available on the web.
Keyboard has Push-On Push-Off keys for Shift, Control and Alt functions; essential for single hand operation. The unique switch-able dual layout feature of Maltron keyboards (UK and USA models) is included on all keyboards to give an alternative number entry option.
