The Keeway RKF 125 is a sharp-looking learner-legal naked bike that offers plenty of style and specification for the money. The Euro 4 version uses a 124.8cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, 4-valve single, producing around 12bhp, with a 6-speed gearbox.

It’s particularly appealing to newer riders thanks to its 770mm seat height, light, manageable feel and good low-speed handling. The 17-inch wheels, USD forks and disc brakes give it a more substantial feel than some budget 125s, while the digital dash and aggressive styling make it look considerably more expensive than it is.

Performance is perfectly adequate for commuting and A-road riding. Running costs are low, and the relatively simple single-cylinder engine is straightforward to maintain.

A great-looking, affordable 125 that makes a very good first geared motorcycle. It doesn’t have the refinement or badge appeal of a Yamaha or Honda, but it offers a lot of bike for the money.
