With us here at RFH Classics we are delighted to offer this exceptionally low mileage 2006 (56) Jaguar XK8 4.2 V8 Convertible Automatic, finished in Liquid Silver with a contrasting Black Leather interior and matching Black Fabric Electric Hood. Having covered just 39,900 miles from new and with only three former keepers, this is a particularly appealing example of the later 4.2-litre V8 model, combining elegant styling, strong specification and the effortless performance that makes these Jaguars such accomplished grand tourers.

The Liquid Silver coachwork suits the flowing lines of the XK particularly well and is complemented by the factory optional 19-inch Atlas 10-Spoke Alloy Wheels. The paintwork retains an excellent depth of shine, the panels fit well throughout and the overall presentation reflects a car that has clearly been cherished during its relatively low mileage life. Inside, the Black Leather cabin remains unmistakably Jaguar and provides the combination of comfort and luxury expected of the marque. Equipment includes Electric Memory Driver and Passenger Seats, Heated Front Seats, Automatic Climate Control and Cruise Control, while the Black electrically operated hood folds neatly away for open-top motoring. A Wind Deflector is also included with the car.

Power comes from Jaguar's superb 4.2-litre naturally aspirated AJ-V8, producing almost 300bhp and driving through a smooth six-speed automatic transmission. Introduced as a development of the earlier 4.0-litre unit, the later 4.2 provides strong, effortless performance together with the distinctive character and soundtrack of a naturally aspirated Jaguar V8. Whether covering longer motorway journeys or enjoying a Sunday drive with the roof down, it remains a wonderfully relaxed and capable car to drive. The car comes with a printed service record documenting regular maintenance throughout its life and, as part of our preparation here at RFH Classics, it will receive a fresh service prior to delivery.

Introduced in 1996 as the successor to the long-running XJS, the XK8 represented a new generation of Jaguar grand tourer. Styled under the direction of Geoff Lawson, its flowing lines carried clear echoes of Jaguar's earlier sporting cars while introducing more contemporary engineering and everyday usability. The later 4.2-litre cars benefited from the continued development of the model and today well-preserved, low mileage examples offer an appealing route into modern-classic Jaguar ownership.

The car is ULEZ compliant, has a clean MOT through to June 2027 and will be supplied freshly serviced as part of our preparation. It will also come with our 3-month major mechanical warranty together with a vehicle history certificate detailing its clear recorded finance and insurance status.
