Location: Remote-first, UK

Contract: Initial 12 months (potential to extend)

Clearance: SC Clearance Required (Active/Lapsed)

We are looking for an experienced IBM Maximo SME to support a major programme, with a particular focus on Maximo Manage and Maximo Mobile.

The successful consultant will bring strong functional and technical knowledge of Maximo, alongside hands-on experience configuring and delivering Maximo Manage and Mobile solutions within complex, asset-intensive environments.

You will work with programme stakeholders, engineering teams and technical specialists to ensure Maximo is configured and utilised effectively against operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a subject-matter expert for IBM Maximo Manage and Maximo Mobile across the programme.

Understand asset, maintenance and work-management processes and translate requirements into Maximo solutions.

Support the design, configuration and optimisation of Maximo Manage functionality.

Configure and support Maximo Mobile applications and workflows for operational and field-based users.

Work with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements and solution approaches.

Advise on Maximo best practice across asset, work and maintenance management.

Support integration, testing, migration and deployment activities where required.

Identify opportunities to improve processes and maximise the use of the Maximo platform.

Produce appropriate solution documentation and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.Essential Experience

Strong hands-on experience with IBM Maximo / Maximo Application Suite (MAS).

Strong experience with Maximo Manage and Maximo Mobile.

Previous experience working as a Maximo SME, Consultant or Solution Specialist.

Strong understanding of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).

Experience configuring Maximo to support maintenance, work management and asset lifecycle processes.

Practical experience delivering mobile Maximo functionality for operational or field-based users.

Ability to translate operational requirements into Maximo configuration and solutions.

Experience working within complex enterprise programmes.

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Desirable Experience

Knowledge of Maximo Application Suite / MAS 8 or MAS 9.

Experience with Maximo Mobile configuration, customisation and offline functionality.

Experience of Maximo integrations, data migration or platform upgrades. xjnqpsq

Previous experience working within defence or UK public-sector programmes
