Description

Systems Administrator

Dartford, Kent

£30,000 - £40,000 DOE

Full Time | Permanent | Office Based

My client has recently launched a bespoke business management platform that sits at the heart of their operation, bringing together project, client, workforce and financial data into one central system.

They are now seeking a Systems Administrator to become the internal expert and champion of the platform. This is not a traditional IT infrastructure role. Instead, you'll take ownership of the system itself, ensuring data integrity, supporting users, developing digital workflows and forms, producing management reports, and working alongside developers to drive ongoing improvements.

The salary range reflects the flexibility of the opportunity. The role would suit either an experienced Systems, CRM or Application Administrator who can quickly take ownership of the platform, or a highly organised and systems-minded Administrator looking to develop into a specialist systems role.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the migration of legacy data from existing systems into the new platform, ensuring accuracy and integrity throughout

* Act as the internal super user and first point of contact for all system-related queries

* Create and maintain digital forms and workflows to support projects through every stage of the construction process

* Develop reports, dashboards and management information to support business decision-making

* Work closely with the Compliance Manager to maintain audit records, compliance documentation and reporting requirements

* Manage user accounts, permissions and password resets

* Liaise with software developers to investigate bugs, test enhancements and support future system updates

* Deliver training and guidance to colleagues across the business

* Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency through better use of the system

* Maintain system documentation and best practice guides

About You

* Previous experience using CRM, ERP, database or business management systems

* Strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in technology and systems

* Comfortable working with large volumes of data whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy

* Experience producing reports, management information or xjnqpsq dashboards would be advantageous

* Confident learning new software and becoming a subject matter expert

* Strong communication skills with the ability to support colleagues across the business

* Proactive, organised and naturally inquisitive

* Driver due to need to travel to other office monthly

What's On Offer?

* Opportunity to take ownership of a brand-new business-critical platform

* Close collaboration with senior management and software developers

* Competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience and systems expertise

This role would suit someone who enjoys technology, systems, reporting and process improvement, and is looking to develop into a key business systems specialist within a growing organisation
