Your new company
I'm recruiting for a DBA (LEDS) to join a well-known organisation. This is working remotely with occasional travel if requested. It's paying £552.80 per day inside IR35. The role requires someone with active SC Clearance ideally held with a government body, and also someone who is eligible for NPPV3 Clearance.
Your new role
Database Design & Optimisation: Ensure efficient schema design, indexing strategies, and query optimisation to support LEDS performance and scalability.
Security & Compliance: Implement robust access controls, encryption, and auditing to meet security standards and Home Office compliance requirements.
Backup & Recovery: Develop and maintain automated backup routines and disaster recovery plans to guarantee data integrity and availability.
Performance Monitoring: Use PostgreSQL tools and monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks.
Patch Management & Upgrades: Ensure managed AWS Postgres instances are at an appropriate patched versionWhat you'll need to succeed
