We are recruiting for an experienced Business Intelligence & Performance Officer to join a busy Communities & Homes service within a local authority.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Housing Performance Officer, Business Intelligence Analyst or Housing Data Analyst with strong Power BI and Excel skills who can turn complex operational data into meaningful management information.

The role will provide specialist business intelligence, performance reporting and data analysis across housing, assets, compliance, repairs and tenant services, helping senior managers make informed operational, financial and strategic decisions.

## The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, scorecards and management information

Producing regular and ad-hoc performance reports for managers, senior leadership, elected members and external regulators

Analysing operational, financial and performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement

Developing and improving automated reporting and data processes

Monitoring and improving data quality across housing and associated systems

Extracting, validating, analysing and reconciling data from multiple systems

Investigating data anomalies and implementing appropriate data-quality controls

Supporting performance reporting across housing, repairs, assets, compliance and tenancy management

Producing statutory and regulatory performance information, including Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs)

Supporting reporting to the Regulator of Social Housing

Providing performance information for audits, complaints, Ombudsman enquiries and governance meetings

Working with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions

Reviewing and mapping business processes to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency and service improvement

Supporting transformation projects, system upgrades, testing and implementation

Developing new KPIs, performance frameworks and management information requirements

## About You

We are looking for someone with strong experience in business intelligence, performance reporting or data analytics, ideally gained within local authority housing or the social housing sector.

You should have:

Strong Power BI dashboard development experience

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Experience analysing complex datasets and presenting meaningful insights

Experience developing performance reports, dashboards, KPIs and management information

Strong understanding of data quality, validation and governance

Experience extracting and reconciling information from multiple systems

Experience supporting business improvement, transformation or business analysis

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Ability to present complex information clearly to senior managers and non-technical stakeholders

Experience with Civica CX, Tech Forge, Totalmobile or equivalent housing management, repairs, compliance or asset-management systems would be particularly valuable.

Previous experience of Tenant Satisfaction Measures, housing regulatory reporting, repairs/compliance performance or Regulator of Social Housing requirements would also be highly advantageous. xjnqpsq
