Business Data Analyst (x3)

Job Title: Business Data Analyst

Location: Essex (2–3 days onsite per week)

Contract: 6 months (Outside IR35)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Data Analyst to support our asset data transformation programme. The successful candidate will collate, cleanse, and transform asset data into new structures to enable improved maintenance and capital planning. This role requires a proactive individual who can work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring deliverables are met within programme timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Collate, cleanse, and transform asset data into new formats to support planning and decision-making.

Work closely with technical SMEs and business stakeholders to define and agree asset data requirements.

Facilitate workshops with planners and asset development teams to resolve legacy data issues and identify new attribute sources.

Contribute to programme governance, including weekly reporting cycles and team ceremonies.

Manage and update personal work plan, coordinating activities with stakeholders to meet project deadlines.

Communicate effectively with subject matter experts and provide updates into programme teams.

Skills & Experience

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data manipulation, import/export from multiple sources).

Proven ability to handle and transform large datasets with accuracy and attention to detail.

Experience working in structured programmes and comfortable with accountability to governance frameworks.

Confident in running workshops and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.

Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Desirable Skills

Knowledge of facilities management systems such as Maximo (or similar).

Previous experience in the facilities maintenance industry
