Description
Envirograf Q/VFR Fire Retardant Coating System is a water-based fire protection coating for wood, wood boards, bamboo, MDF, chipboard, plywood, melamine, veneered boards, furniture, and wood related products.
It offers protection up to BS476: Part 6 & 7, Class 0 & 1, UK Building Regulations & EU EN SBI Test to B/S1/d0 of European Standards. Suitable for use internally only it offers up to 20 minutes of fire protection. This 2-part kit contains both the intumescent & protective topcoat.
Fire Rating: Achieves British Standard Class 0 & Class 1 spread of flame compliance, European Standard B/S1/d0, and provides up to 20 minutes of fire protection.
Two-Part System: It is supplied as a 50/50 kit consisting of two distinct coats that must be applied in a strict, sequential order:
Coat 1 (C1): The primary intumescent fire protection layer.
Coat 2 (C2): The specialized protective topcoat.
Coverage: Requires a spreading rate of 10m² per litre, per coat.
Clear lacquer: goes on milky but dries clear
Application: brush, roller, or spray, provided the first coat (C1) is completely dry before applying the second (C2).
