Rose Chapman Architects is an architecture and interior design studio working across London, Sussex and the South Coast. We specialise in transforming homes through carefully considered renovations, extensions and new-build projects.

For us, successful architecture begins with listening. We take time to understand how our clients live, what they love about their home, the constraints and what they hope it could become. From there, we explore the possibilities together, bringing our experience and creativity to the process while making sure the result remains distinctly theirs.

Our work is thoughtful and highly considered, with a particular interest in light, proportion, materials and the way spaces connect. We look for opportunities to make a home feel more generous, more beautiful and easier to live in, while respecting the character and qualities that make each property individual.

But we believe the experience of creating a home matters just as much as the finished result.

Building and renovating can be complex, and our clients trust us to guide them through it. We provide clear advice, communicate openly and remain closely involved throughout; from the first ideas, viability, planning applications to working with builders, consultants and craftspeople on site. Tests and sequencing inevitably arise during building projects; our responsibility is to anticipate them where we can and calmly find solutions should they need.

As a compact studio, our approach is personal and hands-on. We build close relationships with our clients and care deeply about both the details of their project and the experience they have along the way.
