Selling my 2014 (64 Reg) Hyundai i40 Active Blue Drive. It’s a fantastic, spacious family saloon or daily commuter that drives brilliantly and is incredibly good on fuel.
It has just flown through its MOT with zero failures, so it comes with a Full 12 Months MOT (valid until 25th May 2027).
The Good Bits:
Low Mileage: Only 86,589 miles on the clock, which is nothing for these 1.7 CRDi diesel engines.
Drives Great: Mechanically sound, pulls well, and the dashboard is completely clear of any warning lights.
Economical: "Blue Drive" model, meaning great MPG and cheaper road tax.
Clean Interior: Massive boot space and a very clean, smoke-free black cloth interior. Comes with air con, steering wheel controls, and auto-hold parking brake.
Honest Points (To save everyone's time):
I want to be completely upfront about the condition so there are no surprises:
Bodywork/Alloys: It looks great in white, but it is a 10-year-old car. There are scuff marks on the alloy wheels and a small patch of surface rust/bubbling on the lower rear passenger door sill (see photos).
Gear Stick: The gear stick feels a little "sticky" when shifting, but it goes into every gear fine and doesn’t stop the car from driving great.
Keys: Comes with 1 key.
MOT Advisories: Passed with two minor advisories to keep an eye on (offside front brake pipe corroded & offside rear tyre showing slight cracking).
Priced fairly to reflect the minor cosmetic bits and the sticky gear stick. It's a genuinely great, reliable car with a brand new MOT and low miles.
