Eximius Live-In Care is rated Outstanding by the CQC, a rating held by fewer than 5% of care providers in the UK. We are live-in care specialists, so live-in care is the only thing we do. Our care is nurse-led and clinically overseen, delivered by vocational carers who are carefully matched to the client they support.

Eximius was founded in 2016 by Kate, inspired by her mother's journey as a spirited, fiercely independent 85-year-old who wanted to stay in her own home. Kate built the business to give other families that same choice, home care that lets elderly and vulnerable people live life fully, on their own terms, in the place they know best. Eximius remains a family-run, boutique operation, so families get a personal, consistent relationship with the team behind their care.

We support older people who need companionship, help with daily living, personal care, mobility support, dementia care, respite care or assistance following a hospital stay. Our aim is to help people remain safe, independent and comfortable in their own homes, surrounded by familiar routines and the people and things they love.

We also provide specialist complex care for individuals living with neurological conditions, acquired brain injuries and spinal cord injuries. Our clinical and management teams support every carer to deliver safe, consistent and person-centred care.

Through our accessible travel service, we provide trained care support for holidays, family visits and other journeys within the UK or overseas, helping with planning, travel arrangements, personal care, mobility and day to day support.

Whether care is needed on a long-term, short-term or respite basis, we offer a free initial assessment and build the service around each client's individual needs, preferences and lifestyle.
