I know I'm asking what seems a lot of money, but this cost almost £4000 when my parents purchased it !!!!
I can't find a makers name, but it sat in the dining room where the rest of the dining furniture was by WILLIAM TILLMAN... so possibly one of his.
BRIGHTS of NETTLEBED were also a favourite shopping venue !!!
I think it's Cherry Wood, if not, then Mahogany.
ALL SOLID WOOD... NO VENEERED CHIPBOARD !!!
3 frieze drawers, with cupboards below, with internal shelving.
BE WARNED.... WHATEVER WOOD IT IS, ITS AS HEAVY AS HELL... MUST BE A WHOLE TREE !!!
