Lloyd Loom is a distinctive material made from tightly twisted kraft paper wrapped around a steel wire, offering exceptional strength with a refined, smooth finish. First developed in 1917, it has become a hallmark of timeless design-both resilient and graceful in appearance.
Each sheet is carefully shaped and applied by hand to rattan or wooden frames, then painted. Unlike traditional wicker, Lloyd Loom will not catch on clothing or skin, making it a practical and elegant choice for refined interiors and sheltered outdoor settings.
