Live-In Housekeeper / Guest Host – Hotel Rouge, Blackpool

Hotel Rouge is a boutique hotel located in the North Shore area of Blackpool. We are currently looking for a friendly, reliable and presentable live-in housekeeper/guest host to join our small team.

This is not a traditional full-time cleaning role. While some cleaning and housekeeping duties are involved, the position is more focused on helping manage the day-to-day running of the hotel, maintaining communal areas and being available for guests.

Main Responsibilities

- Greeting guests and showing them to their rooms

- Being available during check-in periods to assist guests

- Helping create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere within the hotel

- Keeping communal areas clean, tidy and well presented

- Assisting with light housekeeping and room checks when required

- Small laundry duties when needed, although most laundry is handled by a commercial cleaning company

- Reporting maintenance issues or guest concerns

- Helping ensure the hotel runs smoothly on a daily basis

- Able to work independently

- Some housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred

- Comfortable interacting with guests on a daily basis

Accommodation

This is a live-in position and private accommodation is included as part of the role.
