ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Experienced background from an High-end private residence or top-class fine dining restaurant.

Excellent opportunity for an experienced footman/steward to join a fully staffed property in Kensington for a private VIP residence. This is a full-time, permanent position.

This role will require a candidate who can provide exceptional, elegant table service during meals, ensuring a high standard of courtesy and professionalism, while maintaining absolute discretion at all times.

Duties will include:

• Set, serve, and clear tables for breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and special occasions, working on a shift system

• Run shopping errands, stock up fridges

• Prepare dining areas impeccably before meals and maintain them to a high standard

• ⁠Assist with F & B preparation as needed

• Collaborate with chefs, housekeepers, and other staff to ensure seamless service

• Offer attentive service during events or gatherings, maintaining excellent workflow

• Manage food and beverage stocking and inventory in coordination with household staff

• ⁠⁠Proactively address the needs of the household with discretion and professionalism

It is essential that you have prior experience in a high-end private household or fine-dining restaurant or hotel, along with strong knowledge of etiquette and formal service techniques. Additionally, we require candidates with excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. You must be able to work efficiently under pressure and manage several tasks at once. Keen attention to detail required.

Full time position working 5days per week according to the principal’s needs. Salary circa £45,000 gross per year, negotiable based on experience, 28 days annual leave, pension contribution. 9-hour day including a break. This schedule includes rotational weekends working in team of 4 members, 2 morning 2 evening shifts. (HU4353)
