Description
Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Temporary Kitchen Porter to cover holiday for a Medical Laboratory in Witney, Oxfordshire.
Role: Temporary Kitchen Porter (Holiday Cover)
Location: Witney, Oxfordshire
Pay Rate: 13.45 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday (08:00 - 16:00)
Key Responsibilities of the Kitchen Porter:
Preparing and traying up bulk food itemsCarrying out basic vegetable preparationHelping with general food preparation as requiredChecking and storing food deliveries correctlyFollowing food hygiene, HACCP and health & safety proceduresKeeping the kitchen, equipment and service areas clean and tidyChecking and recording food temperaturesAbout you:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organisedGood communication skills to report safety issues and work as a teamA positive attitude and willingness to take on different tasks as neededUnderstanding of proper uniform and hygiene standards in a food service settingNo candidate will meet every single desired qualification we have listed.
