Location: Wiltshire

Salary: Up to GBP60,000

We re looking for an experienced Technical Manager to take the lead on food safety, quality and technical compliance within a fast-paced chilled food manufacturing environment.

This is a high-impact role where you ll work closely with senior leadership to protect product integrity, exceed customer expectations and ensure the site consistently meets the highest regulatory and industry standards.

The Role

You ll take ownership of the site s technical function, driving a strong culture of food safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading the technical, food safety and quality agenda across the siteEnsuring full compliance with BRCGS, HACCP, UK legislation and customer standardsManaging internal, external, customer and third-party auditsMaintaining and continually improving the site s food safety and quality systemsWorking closely with production and operational teams to embed technical standardsBuilding strong relationships with customers, suppliers, auditors and internal stakeholdersIdentifying risks, driving corrective actions and delivering sustainable improvementsProviding clear technical leadership and expert advice to senior management What We re Looking For

You ll be a confident, commercially aware technical professional who can lead from the front, challenge effectively and get results.

Essential experience includes:

Proven experience as a Technical Manager or Senior Technical professional within food manufacturingStrong knowledge of BRCGS standards and audit managementHACCP qualification with proven practical applicationStrong understanding of UK food safety legislation and retailer requirementsExcellent leadership, influencing and communication skillsA Food Technology, Food Science or equivalent qualification is preferredExperience within chilled food manufacturing is highly desirable Why Join?
