You’ll join a forward-thinking organisation going through continued transformation, providing hands-on support across employee relations, policy and people processes. There’s also a clear progression pathway towards a business partnering position for someone ready to develop their career further.

What’s in it for you

Salary of £35,000–£40,000

Hybrid working, with around two days per week in the office

25 days’ annual leave

Pension scheme

Wellbeing package including discounted private medical insurance and gym membership

Clear opportunity to progress towards a business partnering position

Your responsibilities as HR Advisor

Advise managers on employee relations matters including performance, disciplinary, investigation, probation and absence cases

Manage short and long-term absence cases, including Occupational Health referrals

Support employee relations meetings and hearings, ensuring fair and consistent processes

Produce accurate documentation including meeting notes and outcome letters

Review and update people policies to maintain legal compliance and reflect current best practice

Identify opportunities to improve processes and help embed effective policies across the organisation

What we’re looking for in a HR Advisor

Someone with 3-5 years’ HR experience would sit well within the existing team structure

Strong generalist people-function experience within a commercial, office-based environment

Proven experience independently managing employee relations cases

Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and current best practice

Experience working with people systems and producing accurate documentation

Experience influencing and supporting managers and stakeholders at different levels

If you’re ready to build on your employee relations expertise and take the next step towards a broader business partnering career, apply now for this HR Advisor position.
