Good opportunities to work for a nationwide, commercial laundry company that is going through some great expansion these past few years. After a number of company acquisitions they are looking to strengthen their position to be able to provide a quality service to its clients. They have been running over 20 years and can count some very well know companies as clients.

Due to a expansion they are currently looking for a commercial laundry equipment engineer, you will be:-

Providing service and maintenance on commercial laundry equipment - commercial and industrial washing machines, tumble driers, rotary irons, finishing machines, dishwashers and some dosing machinesWorking on electrical and gas fired commercial laundry equipmentCovering DevonWorking with clients such as nursing homes, hospitals, offices, holiday parks, hotels

Experience / skills required for a commercial laundry engineer

Experience within commercial laundry equipment would be beneficial but is not essentialThey are looking to train someone up on gas commercial laundry equipment so need someone with existing domestic or commercial gas certificatesThey would also consider someone who has experience working on commercial catering equipment or commercial dishwashersLiving anywhere in or around Devon, ideally living Barnstaple to Taunton to Exeter but also further south to Torquay would be consideredGood electrical competency

Salary for a commercial laundry engineer

38k basic if you have any gas certificates35k basic if you don't have gas certs but have relevant electrical industry experienceDoor to door travel pay2k annual performance bonus paid on a quarterly basisVan, phone, overtimeCall out rota for 1 weekend in 625 days holiday + 8 bank holidaysGreat further training on gas laundry equipment
