Catering Assistant

Description

We are working with a Catering client that currently have a number of temporary catering assistant and food service assistant vacancies in the Bishops Stortford Area.

The work will involve:

Keeping Kitchen and counters clean and tidy.

Washing up pots ,cutlery ,crockery and other kitchen equipment.

Assisting kitchen team with basic food preparation.

Serving food to customers.

Cleaning catering equipment, counters, tables and floors.

Working to high standards of health and hygiene and following company guidelines.

The work is in kitchens in educational establishments so there is a high level of compliance that has to be fully completed prior to starting any shifts.

You will need;

Enhanced DBS

KCSIE part 1 and Safeguarding level 2

Allergen Training

Food Health and Safety level 2

5 year work history

Previous experience is preferred as well as us being able to get previous employment references. We can provide training and help with the DBS.
