Honda VFR1200X Crosstourer 2012 – £3,700 – Someone Buy This Before I Change My Mind. 50,000 miles (which for these Honda V4 engines is basically just run in). If you know these bikes you’ll know they regularly go well past 100,000 miles when looked after. MOT until end September and just serviced so it’s ready to go. This bike has done the NC500 twice last year without a single issue and never missed a beat. It’s the sort of bike you could point towards Europe tomorrow and it would happily eat the miles all day. Regular oil changes and proper maintenance its whole life. Extras include Oxford heated grips (because Scotland), red fat bars, crash bars, headlight guard, VFR radiator guard, side panniers, top box, Quad Lock mount, Android Auto unit and USB charger. It’s a seriously comfortable mile muncher with loads of power and Honda reliability. Excellent condition for the year and mileage and genuinely well looked after. Only selling because I’ve upgraded to a Triumph Explorer XRX that’s on its way, otherwise I’d happily keep it. £3,700 which is cheap for what this bike is. No swaps, no silly offers and no “mate will you take £1500 and a PlayStation”. Come see it, hear it, ride it and you’ll realise why these bikes are so underrated.
