Description
always wanted one in the 70s now at 70 its not for me body does not bend the same
honda cx500 custom ,imported in 1991 and never put on the road till now .the bike has had 4 owners since imported and never been put on the road ,the bike had to go through an mot to get it historic status, the mot tester was quite surprised that it had never been mote in all these years ;it is now mot and tax exempt, the bike has been fully recommissioned ,still a running restoration
there is another better tank and matching side panels to go with it,
stuff i have done
front and rear breaks stripped and new pats band shoes
new tyres front and rear
oil and filter change
final drive oil changed and drive greased
swing arm and frame painted
forks dismantles new seals and oil,
radiator flushed and new coolant
carbs striped and cleaned
new plugs and air filter,
the bike is nice to drive i just find it cramped as knees not good these days,
