The same 4-stroke single cylinder air cooled engine as the non-road-legal XR and only 11pounds heavier despite all the extra bits, this bike was a real achievement. Not quite as fast out of the blocks as the race version but more than capable of holding its own over distance – and you didn’t need to put it in the van to get it home! It’s true – Japan keeps the best stuff for itself.

We managed to sneak this one out, though, and here she is. In tidy, original condition – only the gaiters have been changed as far as we know. Not immaculate, of course. She is 39 years old – but very nice. Please see the walkaround video. A rare find. Have you been good this year? Go on then – treat yourself to this classic.

This bike has been put through the NOVA system. Registration  has been applied for and is expected to arrive early October. The price includes registration.

We can deliver, please confirm your postcode for a quote.  Delivery/Collection can take place while waiting for the log book to arrive from the DVLA or once the log book has been received.  The motorcycle cannot be ridden on the public highway until the bike is registered and fitted with its number plate. Road tax & insurance are your responsibility as the new keeper. Please note that if a customer pays through Paypal, we require the customer to pay the Paypal charges.  We accept bank transfer or debit card payments at no extra cost to you.

Comes with a 3 month warranty if the bike is under 30 years old at the time of the sale. There are companies who offer warranties for Historic bikes online.

A deposit of 30% will secure the bike, we would not ask for further payment until the bike is ready to hand over. If the customer cancels we will refund 50% of the deposit.
