Description
Vintage brace hand drill. Sometimes called a chest drill brace. Manufactured by Messrs J A Chapman of Sheffield. Also marked No 64. J A Chapman was a tool manufacturer in Sheffield and was taken over by the USA company The Stanley Tool Co in around 1937 so the brace hand drill here for sale predates 1937 so may even be an antique rather than vintage. Also includes an old used auger wood bit. See photos. Collection from Whitchurch, BRISTOL.
