Vintage Boots box and leaflet for a clinical thermometer
Metal case to protect the thermometer
Thermometer seems to be from Ireland, sold through a local chemist, 1930s-1950s? The script as best I can determine is as follows:
60 seconds 770190 - 'Hutnick's' Family, Fawcett Maxwell Chemist, Dalkey, Co Dublin
On the other side it says Reg Pat No 551398 - the scale goes from 95 to 110 with 'too low', 'healthy temp', 'feverish' and 'high fever' written on.
Although this was in our medicine cabinet (!) I'm not sure that the thermometer actually works.
Hutnick's (?) - manufacturer or distributer?
