Description
Circa late 19th/early 20th century (see Cassell's image no.8)
Originally used for removing superfluous thicknesses of metal.
Attractive, complete, original and working statement piece.
Dismantled and restored. Stone professionally filled by stonemason (Image 5). Original trough but new metal trough included in sale (Image 6). One bracket end recast professionally (Image 7).
Very heavy. Would recommend transporting upright and complete, but can be dismantled.
Dimensions approximately; 39'' high, 22'' wide and 29'' deep.
