Description
From information I have been given, this token would have been handed out from a New Sainsburys store at 18/20 Seven Sisters Road, Holloway, in 1895. These were given to customers when they made a purchase to remind them to tell their friends of an impressive new shop.
These were brass tokens.
One side shows a spade shaped shield imitating the George 111 Spade Guinea.
I have shown a picture of the token beside a 2 pence coin, to show the size
