Description
A Halcyon Days oval shaped pill/trinket box with a hinged lid. This one is a 'The Best is Yet to Come' pill box. It has a design of flowers, hats, wine and books on the lid. The lid is multicoloured whilst the dish part is white inside and blue on the outside. It has gold coloured metal edging around the lid and dish which is also the fastening. I have noticed a bit of tarnish on the metal (see last photo). The approx. measurements are: it is 2"x1" (5cm x 3.5cm) & the depth is 1" (2.5cm). It weighs 0.046kg (boxed 0.106kg). It us still in the original box and was purchased from Boodle & Dunthorne, Chester in the late 90's. It had been kept in the box for over 35 years which has kept it clean but as already mentioned the metal has a bit of tarnish. It was a gift that has never been used, it seemed too nice. I am now downsizing my collections and I would like this to be appreciated by someone else. It can be collected, it can be posted or I can meet within a reasonable distance. I have other items for sale including other ornaments and would be happy to combine and do a deal.
