Very collectible, Mark 1 version of this hand crank sewing machine, thought to be from around 1956. Recognised as a simple but very effective machine developed to feed into demand after WW2. Manufactured in Wanstead, East London. In very good, clean condition. Needs oiling but still appears to work well. Base plate that gets clamped to table top has some scratches on it from use over the years but easily revamped to excellent condition. The machine comes with original instructions and original box. Collection from Yarm or could courier at cost to buyer (estimate £8).
