Description
Very different and historically interesting pair of Mayer china plates. 10"/26 kms diameter. Condition consistent with age. One showing front page of Daily News Monday, December 8th 1936 when Edward abdicated and the other from June 6th, 1944, D Day referring to Eisenhower led invasion of N France in WW2. Selling as moved house, down-sized & no space.
