Big cat plates (COLLECTIBLE)

Description

This lovely pair of plates are part of a limited edition by Charles Fraces called Kingdom of Great Cats: Gold Signature Collection thus are collectible. They were marketed by the Bradford Exchange in 1994.

They are constructed from hand-fired porcelain. They both have an image of a big cat with a background of their natural habitat in the centre of the plate. The image is surrounded on the rim of the plate in a complete dark green colour topped with a fine gold coloured filigree pattern and outline. The plate title is then written in gold within a drawn scroll.

These particular examples are named and numbered as follows:

(Bradex no 84-B10-80.6)

They are both stamped with the Bradford Exchange logo.

They would make a welcome addition to any mantlepiece or display unit. They would be appreciated by any collector of animal trinkets or porcelain collections.

They are in perfect pre-owned condition. From a smoke free house. Buyer must collect from Chepstow, Monmouthshire or Brixham or Totnes in Devon. Alternatively, I will happily package and post for the associated costs.

Need to go asap. Would prefer to sell as a pair but would consider splitting. All sensible offers will be considered.
