APM quadcopter, /drone. Brutal power, Cableties and stickytape, parts or needs tidying.

Description

I bought this to learn about the technical side of quadcopters without breaking anything expensive.

It is a flying testbed. Looks like a pile of junk, but has always delivered. Frame could be made to fold too.
Currently it has a gimballed walkera FPV camera, (50 quid off, if you don't want that!)
Dimmable LED spotlamp, (including 20A controller)
A new APM flight controller, mounted on the little rubber table thingy.
Hobbywing (good quality speed controllers 14 quid each on ebay!)
433Mhz telemetry
Turnigy 40V SBEC
FRSKY D8r telemetry rx fitted (telemetry not ever used)
4 batguano motors. (I don't know what they are, but they are hugely powerful, it's very easy to end up too far away to orient it, really quickly! (that's why I added the LED headlamp..)
The landing legs are wonderful as they are. MUCH better than the originals or even the after market ones for this frame. If you drop it, the cable ties offer JUST the right amount of "give" until they fail, absorbing massive energy in the process.

Bad points

There is no GPS fitted. I used Alt Hold mainly on most of my early craft.
The motor mounts are nasty, hewn out of aluminum by the previous owner, but immensely strong. Frame is an X525 with added washers to make it stiffer.
I have no working batteries any more. you'll need a 3 cell 2500 or similar.
