Excellent starting salary at GBP72,000pa Monday to Friday working hours Full time and part time available (3, 4 or 5 days per week available) Workington based when working on–site 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays + Pension + Package Hybrid/home working available GMC fees paid for and CPD revalidation support provided What does the WCA Doctor Assessor role involve?

The Functional Assessor role will involve you carrying out 5 client assessments per day on behalf of clients seeking WCA (Work Capability Assessment). A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face–to–face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their ability to perform work–related activity. You ll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. That's the good news; the DWP make the final decision, you don't. Your role is to gather information and produce the report.
