Your new role

Reporting into the Finance team, you will support the production of management information, month–end reporting, and wider finance operations across the organisation.This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to develop their accounting knowledge and gain exposure to management accounting duties while working towards a professional qualification.Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accountsSupporting month–end close activitiesCompleting balance sheet reconciliationsPreparing and posting journals, including accruals and prepaymentsAssisting with year–end audit requirementsProcessing and allocating cash receiptsReconciling customer and supplier accountsProcessing supplier invoices and paymentsSupporting payroll administration and timesheet processingProducing financial reports, KPI information, and management dataAssisting with the maintenance of accurate financial records and controlsProviding ad hoc support to the wider finance teamWhat you'll need to succeed

Previous experience working within a finance or accounts environmentStrong IT skills, particularly Microsoft ExcelExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailAbility to prioritise workloads and work to deadlinesStrong communication and relationship–building skillsA proactive approach and willingness to learnAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamDesirable

AAT studies in progress or completedAccounting & Finance degreeExperience supporting management accountsExposure to month–end processes, reconciliations, or journalsUnderstanding of financial controls and reportingWhat you'll get in return
