Job Title: Team Leader (LA3, LA2, LA6)

Vacancies: 1 Team Leader position available

Salary: GBP27,803.20 per annum, with potential to earn up to GBP34,523.20 including sleep-in shifts.

Sleep-in Shifts: GBP70 per sleep-in shift, offering an additional earning potential of up to GBP6,720 per year.

Home sizes range from 3 to 6 beds depending on the specific homeSpecialist provision for children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)Role Summary:

As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in managing a dedicated team of care staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. You will ensure that all care plans are followed, safeguarding and wellbeing standards are met, and that the home operates smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, motivate, and support your team to deliver outstanding care and supportOversee daily operations within the home, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for childrenCoordinate care plans and liaise with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external agenciesMonitor and maintain compliance with Ofsted and company standardsConduct regular supervisions, appraisals, and training to develop your team's skills and confidenceManage resources effectively, including staffing rotas and budgets where applicablePromote positive behaviour management strategies and therapeutic approachesRespond effectively to emergencies or incidents, ensuring appropriate action is takenPerson Specification:

Proven experience in residential child care, ideally in a leadership or supervisory roleStrong understanding of the needs of children with Emotional and Behavioural DifficultiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to lead and inspire a team while fostering a positive, collaborative environmentCommitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young peopleFlexible approach to working hours, including willingness to undertake sleep-in shiftsIf you're passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and have the skills to lead a dedicated team, we'd love to hear from you.
