Children's Support Worker (Driver Required)

Job Title: Children's Support Worker (Male & Female)

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent (12–week temp–to–perm)

Pay Rate:

13.00 per hour (PAYE) 17.00 per hour (Umbrella) Minimum 40 hours per week Day and Night shifts available About the Role

We are recruiting compassionate and reliable Children's Support Workers to provide high–quality care and support to children and young people in residential settings. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience working with children who are looking to develop a rewarding career in children's residential care.

This is a 12–week temporary–to–permanent opportunity, with successful candidates transferring to a permanent contract with the client after the initial temporary period.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high–quality, person–centred support to children and young people. Build positive, professional relationships and promote emotional wellbeing. Support with daily routines, personal care (where required), education, appointments, and recreational activities. Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour. Follow safeguarding policies and ensure the safety and welfare of children at all times. Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation. Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Transport children and young people when required. Essential Requirements

Full UK Driving Licence. Experience working with children in any capacity (residential care, schools, SEN, childcare, youth work, mentoring, coaching, etc.). Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service. Minimum 18 months remaining on your current UK work visa (where applicable). Good communication and interpersonal skills. Flexible to work a variety of day and night shifts, including weekends. Able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. Right to Work
