Senior Support Worker – Children's Residential Home

Salary: 29,000 – 35,000

Shift Pattern: 8:00am – 11:00pm 1 day on, 2 days off

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well–established children's residential provider for an experienced Senior Support Worker to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people and looking to progress within a supportive organisation that actively invests in staff development.

The service supports children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs, providing a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where they can thrive.

The Role

As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in the day–to–day running of the home, supporting both the young people and the wider staff team. You will help lead shifts, ensure high standards of care are delivered, and act as a positive role model for both young people and colleagues.

Requirements

NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People's Workforce (or equivalent) or above – essentialPrevious experience working within a children's residential settingStrong understanding of safeguarding and child protectionAbility to lead shifts and support team membersExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA calm, resilient, and caring approach
