Manage day-to-day household routines (cooking, shopping, appointments, activities) and support education participation.

Apply approved de-escalation and behaviour-management strategies, record and report incidents appropriately.

Maintain compliance with Ofsted standards, safeguarding procedures, and company policies.

Contribute to a positive, inclusive culture that respects young people's social, emotional and cultural needs.

Working pattern

Rolling rota: 2 day on and 2 days off

The rota includes sleep-ins, which are shared across the team. Any shortfall against the 12.5 shift requirement will be scheduled within the same month.

Proven experience working in residential childcare, ideally with young people with no-verbal.

Strong knowledge of safeguarding, childcare legislation and Ofsted standards.

Experience of supervising or leading staff and conducting formal supervisions.

Good written and verbal communication skills and confident record-keeping.

Ability to work calmly under pressure and to manage challenging behaviour.

Flexible, reliable, and committed to professional development.
