A small, welcoming and well–established nursing home in Carlisle is currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join their dedicated team on a permanent basis.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of person–centred care are delivered to residents. You will lead by example, supporting and guiding the care team to provide compassionate, consistent care in line with best practice, regulatory standards, and individual care plans.

What we are looking for in a Senior Care Assistant:

N/SVQ Level 3 qualified (or working towards)Medication training is desirable (training can be provided)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsA positive, proactive approach with a genuine passion for careEnthusiastic, motivated, and confident working as part of a close–knit teamAbility to support, mentor, and motivate junior staffFull eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship or visa switch available).Willingness to undertake a PVG check.
