Registered Manager Children s Residential Home Salary: GBP55,000 – GBP60,000 per annum

About the Role Are you an experienced Registered Manager or an ambitious Deputy Manager ready to advance your career?
We are recruiting on behalf of a well–established organisation seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Manager to lead an Ofsted–registered children s residential home. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive organisation committed to delivering outstanding, child–centred care and achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.
As the Registered Manager, you will provide confident leadership, effective management, and daily oversight of the home, ensuring full compliance with the Children s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards. You will foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for the children in your care.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the daily operations of an Ofsted–registered children s residential home.Inspire, support, and develop a high–performing team through strong leadership, supervision, and coaching.Ensure the home operates in full compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding legislation, and organisational policies.Promote a positive, child–centred culture where children feel safe, respected, and empowered.Develop and oversee personalised care plans tailored to each young person s unique needs.Build and maintain effective collaborative relationships with social workers, education providers, healthcare professionals, and families.Monitor and drive positive outcomes for children and young people.Manage the home s budget and resources efficiently and responsibly.Maintain accurate records and complete all statutory notifications and reporting requirements promptly.Lead continuous improvement initiatives to achieve and sustain a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating. About You To excel in this role, you will have:
Experience working within a children s residential home setting.At least one year s experience in a supervisory or management position within children s residential care.A thorough understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and the Ofsted regulatory framework.A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or a willingness to attain this qualification.Eligibility to register with Ofsted as a Registered Manager.Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.A genuine commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable children and young people.A resilient, compassionate, and proactive leadership approach. Desirable Experience managing a home rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted.Therapeutic care experience or relevant training.Full UK driving licence. What s on Offer?
