We are recruiting on behalf of a well–established organisation seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Manager to lead an Ofsted–registered children s residential home. As the Registered Manager, you will provide confident leadership, effective management, and daily oversight of the home, ensuring full compliance with the Children s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards. You will foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for the children in your care.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the daily operations of an Ofsted–registered children s residential home.Inspire, support, and develop a high–performing team through strong leadership, supervision, and coaching.Ensure the home operates in full compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding legislation, and organisational policies.Promote a positive, child–centred culture where children feel safe, respected, and empowered.Develop and oversee personalised care plans tailored to each young person s unique needs.Build and maintain effective collaborative relationships with social workers, education providers, healthcare professionals, and families.Monitor and drive positive outcomes for children and young people.Manage the home s budget and resources efficiently and responsibly.Maintain accurate records and complete all statutory notifications and reporting requirements promptly.Lead continuous improvement initiatives to achieve and sustain a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating. About You To excel in this role, you will have:

Experience working within a children s residential home setting.At least one year s experience in a supervisory or management position within children s residential care.A thorough understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and the Ofsted regulatory framework.A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or a willingness to attain this qualification.Eligibility to register with Ofsted as a Registered Manager.Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.A genuine commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable children and young people.A resilient, compassionate, and proactive leadership approach. Desirable Experience managing a home rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted.Therapeutic care experience or relevant training.Full UK driving licence. What s on Offer?
