Description

Talentmark are recruiting are recruiting for a Process Technician to join our waste management, environmental, and recycling client–based industry, at their site near Sheffield. This role will play a key role in ensuring the health and safety of all staff, contractors, and visitors, minimising environmental impact, delivering excellent customer service, and operating the site efficiently in line with budget expectations.

This vacancy is for a full–time position, working 5 days per week. The salary is 35,000 – 45,000.

The company's core business focuses on collection, resource recovery and renewable energy providing services for local authorities and commercial customers. They have a number of core services including municipal services, business waste solutions, recycling and green energy.

Location:

This role is located at our client's site near Sheffield.

Your main duties will be:

Operating process plant to treat industrial waste safely and efficientlyOffloading and treating waste in line with procedures, method statements and risk assessmentsPlanning work around incoming waste to ensure regulatory and operational complianceMonitoring plant and equipment and reporting faults or potential issuesCarrying out routine preventative maintenance on fixed and mobile plantCommunicating effectively with site staff, contractors and driversYour Background:

Experience within a process (chemical) or waste treatment environmentKnowledge of the waste industryLift truck licence (or willingness to obtain)Experience operating plant or mobile equipment (desirable)Apply:
