Description

Role: Pharmacovigilance Data Acquisition Lead

Location: Welwyn (Hybrid – 2 days office based)

Hours: Full–time, 12–month contract (inside IR35)

Pay: 43 – 46 per hour PAYE (excluding holiday pay) or 57.76 – 61.79 per hour Umbrella

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Pharmacovigilance Data Acquisition Lead to join one of our clients, a global organisation within the pharmaceutical sector.

The Requirements:

Degree–level qualificationAround 4 years' industry experience, ideally in areas related to pharmacovigilanceStrong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, product development, and personalised healthcare environmentsExcellent influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels without direct authorityProven interpersonal skills and ability to build sustainable relationshipsEffective leadership and communication skills with experience contributing to strategy deliveryComfortable working across global, virtual, and matrix teamsStrong conflict resolution and problem–solving skills in process–driven environmentsDemonstrated track record of sound decision–making and good business judgement

The Role:

Lead on data acquisition activities, ensuring regulatory requirements and scientific insights are metCollaborate with stakeholders and suppliers to ensure effective and compliant data collection and deliveryManage and oversee external vendors, ensuring work is compliant and effectiveDevelop and monitor KPIs, performance measures, and data supply trendsAddress challenges from data suppliers, including digital data channelsProvide consultation and expertise on data–related requirements across global functionsDesign and deliver new processes, frameworks, and training materials to support evolving data strategiesContribute to corrective and preventive action plans based on analysis, audits, or deviationsRepresent the organisation in internal and external forums, promoting data acquisition strategy and outcomesSupport a culture of agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement
