Nursery Assistant

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a highly motivated Nursery Assistant to join our supply team in Southampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high–quality care and education to young children aged between 6 months and 4 years old.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning and delivery of daily activities, including creative play, reading, and outdoor activitiesEnsure the safety and welfare of the children at all timesDevelop positive relationships with children, parents, and colleaguesSupport the key worker in maintaining accurate records of children's development and progressAttend staff meetings, training sessions, and other relevant meetings as requiredMaintain a clean, tidy, and child–friendly environmentRequirements:

Experience working with young children in a nursery or similar settingGood communication and interpersonal skillsA positive attitude towards working with children and their familiesA commitment to continuing professional developmentContract details for Nursery Assistant role:
