Mental Health Support Worker – Specialist SEMH School, Folkestone

Are you a graduate looking to gain hands–on experience supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs?

Do you want to work in a specialist school environment, alongside trained therapists, counsellors, and psychologists, developing practical skills that will accelerate your career in education, therapy, or child support?

A specialist SEMH school in Folkestone is seeking a motivated Mental Health Support Worker to join their team. In this role, you'll provide consistent, child–centred support to pupils, helping them manage behaviour, develop emotional wellbeing, and thrive in a supportive school environment.

Who we're looking for: Mental Health Support Worker

Recent graduates in Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, Youth Studies, or related fields.

Candidates with a genuine interest in mental health, SEMH, or working with children with complex needs.

Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed individuals who want to learn from experienced therapists and educational specialists.
